The opening rounds of
the 2008 Renault Clio
Cup were held at Brands
Hatch, and me and the
team wanted to start
this season where we
left off at Thruxton
last year in the top ten. more

Rds 3/4 - Rockingham >
After being 5th fastest in the morning session
of Friday practice,
all was looking good
for qualifying at Rockingham for rounds 3&4. More

The first round of the Clio cup got under way on Sunday 1st April, unfortunately, I had a great view of it from the grandstand.

After a reasonable qualifying session at a circuit I've never quite got on with, I was collected by an accident happening in front of me, despite my best efforts, and taking to the GP circuit while the race was being held on the Indy, I was still hit.

After getting the car facing the right way, and
re-joining the race in a rather lonely last place, a safety car gave me the chance to get back on the pack. With a few cars already retired, I only needed one place to qualify for the feature race.
