BRANDS HATCH
So, back to Brands, where earlier in the season I had not qualified for the championship race as I had been taken out by another driver's accident. Thankfully this weekend went a little better.
After Friday testing we knew it was going to be a close weekend with only 8 tenths of a second separating the top 20 odd drivers.In qualifying I came into the pits with only a few minutes to go, for a tyre change to get some new rubber on the front and to clear my head. I got out on track, and knocked over 2 tenths off of my best time, which put me within .5 of a second of pole, but that still left me in 9th.
I got a brilliant start in the qualifying race only to have no where to go with all the momentum I had gained, and struggled round the outside of paddock hill being knocked out onto the marbles by another driver, and endedup lying in 13th over the line.
