The opening rounds of
the 2008 Renault Clio
Cup were held at Brands
Hatch, and me and the
team wanted to start
this season where we
left off at Thruxton
last year in the top ten. more

Rds 3/4 - Rockingham >
After being 5th fastest in the morning session
of Friday practice,
all was looking good
for qualifying at Rockingham for rounds 3&4. More
   
 

CROFT
After some major set up changes, we were looking forward to improved results at the northern haunt of croft.

After cooling off in qualifying, seeing 8th on my pit board, I was less than delighted to come into the holding area to find 3 cars had put in storming laps right at the end of the session dropping me to 11th. I held my position throughout the race, but a gentle tap from Crocker at the hairpin, sent me around, but with a lot of gas, and a fair amount of opposite lock, I managed to hold what I'm sure was a very impressive looking slide!!!

But with the loss of momentum, Crocker and Pierce managed to out drag me to the next corner. With only a lap left, I managed a clean dive down Crockers inside into Sunny In, and held him behind for 12th. This meant I started 23rd on the grid for the feature race.
