Hatch, and me and the
team wanted to start
this season where we
left off at Thruxton
last year in the top ten. more

Rds 3/4 - Rockingham >
After being 5th fastest in the morning session
of Friday practice,
all was looking good
for qualifying at Rockingham for rounds 3&4. More

Croft began a bad week of motorsport for me. After being on the pace, we struggled heavily in qualifying, due we think to very different conditions than to the previous test days. I ended the session in 19th and 23rd.

In the first race, I made a good opening few laps, and had got up to 15th, with a sizable gap, and was closing in on the group in front. Mid race coming into the breaking for sunny, I found my throttle stuck open. I threw the car to the infield, kicked the pedal free, dropped the car down three gears, and the collected the slide up and drifted onto the apex of sunny out, all without losing a place (some luck included!). But know I had the very quick Hunter behind me, but was managing to hold him off until we came together in a ‘racing incident’ that pitched me into the tyre wall on the outside.

The second race was slightly shorter as my dad came together with another driver which pitched his car into mine, and ending both our races there and then.
