Rds 3/4 - Rockingham >
After being 5th fastest in the morning session
of Friday practice,
all was looking good
for qualifying at Rockingham for rounds 3&4. More
   
 

Oulton ParK CONTD...
As the lights went out I struggled to find grip in the damp, and lost a few places in the first few corners, but I wasn't bothered, as the wets would start to become awful around the corners within a few laps as the track was really starting to dry out. After a few massive slides that I thought were definitely the end of my race, we came round behind the safety car after Alan Taylor had been pushed into the tyre wall. This was a ok in terms of our race plan, as a few laps would help dry the track without me having to be on the limit in the damp, but it turned into a disaster as it was still out 5 laps later.

The track was plenty dry enough now, but all the drivers on wets weren't having to use them hard, and coupled with the fact they could run offline in the wet to cool them, there wouldn't be the massive edge we would have had on them. As the safety car pulled in, I was determined to get up into the points again.
