The opening rounds of
the 2008 Renault Clio
Cup were held at Brands
Hatch, and me and the
team wanted to start
this season where we
left off at Thruxton
last year in the top ten. more

Rds 3/4 - Rockingham >
After being 5th fastest in the morning session
of Friday practice,
all was looking good
for qualifying at Rockingham for rounds 3&4. More

Exploiting the other drivers caution on cold tyres, I was confident in the car Amerys had set up for me, and passed at least one car on every corner finishing the first lap in 17th and settling behind the safety car ready for the rest of the race. When the race got underway again, I had a good battle with Adcock and Dew, but once I finally got passed them, the pack ahead had got away. I managed to reel them in, but with only a lap left, I had time to pass only Gaffney, but was right on Pierces tail crossing the finish line in 13th place.


So after the opening two weekends, I’m fairly disappointed with my results, but very encouraged with the pace of the car, and the position I’ve found myself in minus the bad luck in the races.
