2008 SEASON...

Rds 1/2 BRANDS >
The opening rounds of
the 2008 Renault Clio
Cup were held at Brands
Hatch, and me and the
team wanted to start
this season where we
left off at Thruxton
last year in the top ten. more

Rds 3/4 - Rockingham >
After being 5th fastest in the morning session
of Friday practice,
all was looking good
for qualifying at Rockingham for rounds 3&4. More

We then settled down, and began to reel in Doyle and Pierce ahead of us, but as the chequred flag came out many laps early due to the strict starting times of the touring cars, I had to pull into the holding area with no idea where I finished.

As it turns out, I was delighted to findout I'd made up 6 places from my original starting position to finish 20th and therefore receive my first point, which was then taken away with a minus 2 penalty for an incident in the race where I had accidentally sent Collison into a spin.

Easy come easy go, and I leave this weekend with a slightly surreal -1 on the points table.
