The opening rounds of
the 2008 Renault Clio
Cup were held at Brands
Hatch, and me and the
team wanted to start
this season where we
left off at Thruxton
last year in the top ten. more

Rds 3/4 - Rockingham >
After being 5th fastest in the morning session
of Friday practice,
all was looking good
for qualifying at Rockingham for rounds 3&4. More

For the second race I lined up in 20th. I had a decent start, and managed to keep out of trouble round the first few corners. And settled in behind Osborne for the majority of the race, I couldn't find a way past. He eventually ran wide coming out on to the back straight, and despite his best efforts at closing the door, I managed to drive round him before the braking area for the esses. We'd had a tiny bit of contact as we were side by side, and my cars tracking was now not perfect, and so while trying to keep Osborne behind me, allowed Small to catch us both up. He got past Osborne with 5 laps to go and then managed to pass me the following lap. I then just sat on his tail until we passed the chequered flag in a slightly disappointing 18th.
