The opening rounds of
the 2008 Renault Clio
Cup were held at Brands
Hatch, and me and the
team wanted to start
this season where we
left off at Thruxton
last year in the top ten. more

Rds 3/4 - Rockingham >
After being 5th fastest in the morning session
of Friday practice,
all was looking good
for qualifying at Rockingham for rounds 3&4. More

A couple of laps later, I got the same exit, and was flying towards the two cars ahead of me, moving left into the only gap available, I was heading unsighted straight for the barrier that is the other side of the escape road. With wheels locked on the dusty road, I slammed into the aforementioned barrier.

With a punctured radiator and a rapidly stiffening
neck, there was nothing to do but get out of the car, to the weird sound of applause from the crowd for the guy that's just crashed his car!
